  • This regulation governs the Indonesia Marine Policy Action Plan (Action Plan), which is a working document for implementing various marine programs and activities in line with the national development targets for the 2021-2025 period.
  • The action plan serves as: 1) a guideline for ministries/agencies and regional governments to plan, implement, and monitor marine development to realize the World Maritime Axis; and 2) a reference for the public and business actors to participate in marine development efforts to realize the World Maritime Axis. It has been in effect since February 22, 2022.
  • This regulation also supports the ASEAN transport system by enhancing the integration of maritime transport connectivity among ASEAN member states.
